myLoc managed IT AG acquire Mivitec GmbH from Munich

Dusseldorf, 29th of July, 2021. WIIT S.p.A., a leading European provider in the cloud computing market for critical business applications, is taking over 100% shares of Mivitec GmbH from Munich through the German subsidiary myLoc managed IT AG. With the acquisition of MIVITEC, myLoc managed IT AG is expanding its portfolio to include data center locations and services in Munich. Munich is one of the most important economic regions and will strengthen the strategic position of the WIIT group in the CLOUD4EUROPE project.

Since 2003 MIVITEC exists and concentrats on providing secure, flexible and always reliable IT services for business customers for years.

MIVITEC operates three data centers in Munich, through continuous investments in future-oriented technologies, the security of the data centers as well as the availability and redundancy of their connections, MIVITEC steadily expanded its position on the German market. In November 2016, MIVITEC received the Technology Fast 50 Award from Deloitte as one of the fastest growing technology companies in Germany.

Germany is Europe's largest manufacturing market and therefore one of the largest strategic priorities of WIIT. Many specializations, even in critical applications, have not yet been fully exhausted, so that myLoc managed IT AG want to complete the first tier 4 data center by the end of H1 2022 through investment by WIIT and to offer high-availability and location-independent IT solutions with Mivitec
