Data centers in München

A total of three Tier III-certified data centres are operated at the Munich site:

  • MUC2: Elisabeth-Selbert-Straße 7, 80939 Munich
  • MUC6: Stuttgarterstraße2, 80807 Munich
  • MUC8: Hans-Stießberg-Straße 2b, 85540 Haar

The data centres differ in size and infrastructure. While MUC2, with three server areas and a total area of 325 m², accommodates almost 100 racks, MUC6 and MUC8 have 50 racks on just 100 m² of data centre space.

Only a few kilometres apart, the MUC2 and MUC6 data centres together offer high availability and optimum connectivity. This proximity enables the service staff to be on site quickly for the customer and to intervene in an emergency. The general physical separation and distance to MUC8, on the other hand, creates a high level of security in the event of a physical incident.

In accordance with Directive 2006/112/EC as amended, the final prices for private customers within the EU may vary depending on the country of residence, as the country-specific VAT of the respective country of residence is applied. The prices stated in the offers include VAT for the Federal Republic of Germany (currently 19%). If the place of residence is outside Germany, the VAT of the respective country of residence will be adjusted accordingly on the invoice. For customers outside the EU, the prices quoted are net, excluding VAT.
