myLoc managed IT AG has been operating data centers in Düsseldorf since 1999 and is developing innovative hosting solutions for private and business customers. In 2009, the two areas of colocation (myLoc managed Infrastructure AG) and hosting (fast IT GmbH) were merged to form the current name of myLoc managed IT AG. The merger of the two subsidiaries created a company that, in addition to pure colocation services, also offers extensive cloud, hosting and managed services and can provide extensive support for your customers' servers.

Numbers & facts

  • Founded in 1999
  • Over 100 employees
  • 7 own carrier-neutral data centers with ISO 27001 certification
  • Operation of the world's largest Lampertz safety cell based on LSR18.6 design
  • Multiple redundant backbone with currently over 3570 Gbit external connection

The areas of activity of myLoc Managed IT AG are divided into four fields

With the operation of seven data centers at the Düsseldorf location, over 3,500 m² of developed data center space is available, which can be expanded by a further 1,000 m² at short notice if necessary. In the world's largest Lampertz security cell based on LSR18.6 construction, sensitive systems of major customers, including banks, insurance companies or ISPs, are protected from external influences as part of the colocation products.

The top priority of myLoc managed IT AG is the availability of the data centers. Through sustainable and redundant design of all relevant systems and a sophisticated, proactive monitoring system, excellent availability is achieved, which over 300 colocation customers have greatly appreciated for many years. Thanks to extensive service offerings, which are implemented on site by our highly qualified technical employees, our customers in the colocation sector can concentrate on their core competencies.

Both private and public clouds are now extremely popular, but often the cloud provider is not based in Germany and the customer's sensitive data is somewhere far away, which is a problem for many. This is just one of the numerous reasons and advantages for myLoc managed IT AG's own cloud solutions. In the area of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), myLoc offers high-performance cloud services with its public cloud, based on HP Helion OpenStack, and in the future also with private cloud. The first cloud solutions in the area of Software as a Service (SaaS) are already available with the products Cloud Backup and Cloud Storage.

With the revised server hosting area of myLoc managed IT AG, it is one of the largest and most innovative hosting companies on the market. MyLoc always relies on branded hardware from HP and optimal support for your customers. The quality requirement is no less low than that of a good price-performance ratio. The new product portfolio now covers the range of root servers and virtual servers in addition to the dedicated server area.

This creates a complete hosting offering with attractive conditions. In the future, our goal will continue to be to convince our existing and new customers of our services with new, standardized hosting solutions.

myLoc managed IT AG has been offering individual managed hosting solutions for external and internal customers since 2006. Large server farms with more than 500 servers have been operated, administered and managed for individual customers for many years. As part of the managed server hosting products, in addition to load balancer, firewall and IDS (intrusion detection) solutions, special attention is paid to high-performance and effective DDoS protection.

On this basis, myLoc can create highly available and attractive offers, especially for demanding hosting areas such as e-commerce, gaming and online advertising delivery.
